Some pets are always ready for outdoor adventures, while others can't wait to dash back inside. Since they can’t ring the doorbell or knock, they’ve invented clever—and often amusing—ways to catch their humans’ attention. From scaling doors to pulling goofy faces, these persistent animals definitely know how to make a memorable entrance.
Get Me AWAY From This Deer!
This kitten is definitely not thrilled about the Bambi doppelgänger standing next to him. While Disney makes it seem like all animals are fond of gentle deer, this little feline clearly disagrees—meowing anxiously at the owner as if begging to be let inside. Meanwhile, the curious doe is just as keen to get indoors, though her interest is driven by curiosity rather than fear. It's anyone’s guess how the owner will manage to let the pet in without welcoming the wild visitor too.
Bet You Can't Ignore THIS Face!
This husky looks like he's tried every trick in the book to catch his owner’s attention and is now going full drama mode. Pressing his nose against the glass, tongue sticking out, and eyes wide open, he’s putting on a show that’s impossible to overlook.
Clearly, he knows how to charm an audience—or at least his human. After barking and jumping without luck, he switched to goofy faces. Honestly, it’s a smart move, and here’s hoping it scored him a quick pass back inside.
Maybe If I Stand Like A Human They'll Let Me In
This boxer is giving it his all to stand taller while peering inside the house. It almost seems like he's trying to stand up like a person, hoping that will persuade his owner to let him in.
You can notice the tension in his neck as he stretches to raise his head higher. His eyes are probably even with the owner’s, as if he’s aiming to lock gazes and win them over to open the door.
That's Not Funny
This cat's face says it all—she’s totally unimpressed. With furrowed brows and a pout, her expression screams, "Really?"
Judging by the owner’s hand near the glass door, it looks like he just playfully tapped her nose. But the cat? She’s definitely not amused. To her, that closed door is anything but funny.
I. See. You.
This cat has absolutely nailed the intense glare of disapproval. With a look that could pierce glass, he seems to be scowling—clearly not pleased about being stuck outside. Whether he's a stray or just a neighborhood visitor, one thing's for sure: he’s not shy about making his presence known.
Adding to the drama, he’s got his paws up by his face like he’s blocking the sun to peer inside more clearly. If anyone’s near that window, they’ll know without a doubt—this kitty wants in, and he’s not asking politely.
Good Manners Ought To Do The Trick
This sweet cat must have learned how to sit properly by modeling after her owner. She's sitting on her bum with her hind legs in front like a human. We must say, this feline has great posture.
It's as though the cat thinks that sitting upright will display her good manners and win her the right to come inside. She isn't wrong. A cat that looks like it's about to pounce is much less likely to get let in than one looking like an obedient schoolchild.
Spider-Cat
This determined cat has taken things to the next level—climbing the screen door in a dramatic attempt to get back inside! Clinging with both front and back claws, she's suspended in what has to be an awkward and uncomfortable pose.
Surely she knows scaling the screen won’t open the door, which means it’s all about grabbing her human’s attention. And if her impressive spider-cat stunt doesn’t do the trick, that eerie little grin just might seal the deal!
Free Teddy Bear If You Let Me In
This adorable pup is making a heartfelt attempt to get back inside—by offering a gift. Holding a teddy bear gently in her mouth, it's as if she’s asking, "Will this sweet gesture earn me a spot back indoors?"
Rather than barking or scratching, she’s gone with a more tender approach—appealing to your emotions. With that precious face and such a charming tactic, who could possibly say no?
Not Even Trying To Be Sneaky
While some wild animals sneak into homes by hiding and slipping in unnoticed, this bold raccoon has no interest in being subtle.
Standing upright and staring directly inside, he looks like he's politely asking, "Mind letting me in?" With his dark fur blending into the surroundings, it’s easy to imagine the homeowners were startled when they finally spotted a curious face peeking through the glass!
Look Into My Eyes
This cat seems to be attempting mind control to get back inside. Standing upright on her hind legs with her front paws resting on the door, she's locked into an intense, unblinking stare.
Her expression is oddly serious, eyes fixed straight ahead—likely on her human—almost as if she’s silently chanting, "Look into my eyes." If she’s aiming to hypnotize her way indoors, she’s definitely giving it her best shot!
The Curious Squirrel
They say curiosity killed the cat, but in this case, it's a squirrel who's a bit too curious for its own good. Usually, squirrels dart away as soon as someone gets within a few feet of them.
But this little guy seems completely at ease, standing just a window away from the homeowner. He's almost pressing his face against the glass and looks genuinely interested in entering the house! Perhaps he’s more of a domestic squirrel after all.
This Raincoat Is Not A Proper Shelter!
While some dogs can be overly dramatic about being left outside, this one has a valid reason to be upset. The rain is coming down so heavily that the patio is completely flooded, and this tiny chihuahua is barely 6 pounds.
Though the owner did outfit the pup with a cute pink raincoat, it hardly compares to the comfort of being inside. The poor dog is probably thinking, "You've got to be kidding me."
Let Me In!!!
This kitten looks like she's caught somewhere between shock and panic as she peers through the glass door. Her eyes are so wide, it’s impossible to miss the full ring of color surrounding her pupils.
With her mouth open mid-meow, you can almost hear the frantic cries coming through the glass. She’s not politely requesting entry—she’s making it very clear that someone needs to open that door immediately!
Nevermind The Fact That I'm A Cougar
This cougar isn't afraid to get up close and personal with the neighbors. She's sitting right on their doorstep waiting for an invitation inside. Either she admired the owner's taste in home decor or she's looking for a midnight snack.
Either way, there's no way the homeowner is going to open that door, especially with the cougar's mouth open mid-roar! We wouldn't know whether to be fascinated or horrified! At least it makes for a great story.
Climbing The Window Grids
This cat is so bent on getting inside that she climbed up the window grid to get higher up on the door. She got up high enough to be taller than the door handle! We hope that the owner had the sense to lock the door because this cat could practically grab the handle and open it right up!
The feline's open mouth and bared claws make her look pretty intimidating, so we would want to be on the other side of the door if she did get it open.
The Melodramatic Dog
This dog deserves an award for the most theatrical performance of the year. Not only is he balanced on his hind legs, but he's also arching backward in a full backbend, gazing straight behind him. His mouth is wide open, likely releasing a dramatic, heartfelt howl. With such a flair for the dramatic at home, you can only wonder what the neighbors think. Luckily, the owner isn’t fooled by this canine’s over-the-top act.
We're All Waiting
We might never find out if cats, dogs, and chickens can actually talk to one another, but this moment makes a strong case for interspecies teamwork. Together, the crew—a puppy, a kitten, and two chickens—seem perfectly in sync with one shared goal.
All eyes are fixed in the same direction, likely locking onto the homeowner in a collective, silent appeal to be let inside. The kitten's even risen up on its hind legs to get a better look, showing just how serious they all are about the mission!
