Trying to trick people isn't as easy as it sounds or looks on TV. Folks are smarter than you think, but there are always some exceptions.
If you're going to attempt to pull a fast one, you need to make sure your bases are covered. Here are times people tried to trick us but failed.

I like how she really thought no one would be able to notice this obvious sharpie mark she made on her phone.
Is that supposed to be a tattoo or a piercing? I have no clue, but it's fake.

The nerve of this restaurant to name a chocolate chip cookie anything other than a chocolate chip cookie. We all know what that is!
Giving things fancier names might fool some, but it doesn't work on everyone, partner.

Well, I'm pretty sure anyone with at least one eye would be able to notice, dear. Next time try putting a little more effort in the wrapping process.

There's nothing to see here except a young woman enjoying her birthday. There's no reason why the wood looks curvy where she's sitting.
That's how wood gets when it's near large bodies of water. Yeah, that's not true at all.

I don't know, I might side with the cat on this one. If the lady had to give a warning, she might be killing the kitty.
It's tough to trust anyone when it comes to animals since they can't plead their cases.

It's an obviously horrible Photoshop job. She ruined the whole photo by doing this. It would've been okay without that fake logo.

Everyone, check this guy out! He's got so many cool tattoos on his body, I'm kind of jealous about it.
Then I realized he's terrible at editing photos. He needs some more workshops under his belt before trying this again.
