A huge part of Christmas is the decorative spirit. Some homes go above and beyond and brighten up their whole neighborhood at night. Others don't bother, and some are too lazy to put in a great effort.
You can always tell who didn't feel like getting creative with their lights and decorations. Let's see some examples.
When The Gingerbread House Breaks
Seeing your gingerbread home break isn't fun. It's a great way to spruce up the spirit in the home, so you never want it to break prematurely.
Instead of tossing it, this person added a dinosaur eating it to justify it breaking.
They Stole It
The homeowner that did this is pretty clever. Getting a giant sign that says they stole your decorations is genius.
At least this way, folks might believe that you really got robbed.
When The Wife Forces You
The wife forced this spouse to decorate, but this is all they managed to do.
At least it's a festive message, but they could've cleaned up the weeds around the sign.
All It Takes
This is all it takes to get into the festive spirit—a happy birthday banner for Jesus on his big day.
Well, it could always be worse than this. At least they did something.
Keep The Pumpkin But Make It Festive
Some people live for Halloween, but no other holiday. Whoever lives here decided a pumpkin was all they needed for Christmas.
Maybe adding one light would make it look a little more festive.
"My Girlfriend Won't Agree That This Is A Suitable Christmas Tree Substitute"
What do you think? Does this count for a Christmas tree during the merry holiday?
Most men would think so, but I don't know how others might see this thing.
A Tree Is A Tree
As long as a tree is up, that's all that matters. It doesn't matter how small the tree is!
In this case, this is the smallest tree I've probably ever seen.
The Grinch Saves The Day
Whenever you don't feel like completing the lighting, you can always use The Grinch to help you.
Make it seem like he's stealing the lights of the home and you're good.
Make The Skeleton Festive
Honestly, what's the point of a tree when you can light up whatever else you have in the house?
You can just add some leaves around the skeleton when it's Thanksgiving.
Bundled And Ready To Go
No one likes untangling wires, especially when the ball is this big. You might as well forget about it.
I hope this person is single and doesn't have a spouse in their ear telling them to fix this.
That Should Be Fine
It might not be able to hold ornaments, but it's going to make your living room smell good.
You also get more floor space with this trick. To each their own.
The Cops Made Them Take Down These Decorations
Here's the epitome of lazy decorating. Putting a fake person on the home and having them hanging the lights is hilarious.
Even though it's cool, I can see why the cops made them take it down.
Just Put A Hat On It
Here's another person who loves Halloween. Instead of taking the skeleton off the lawn, they added a hat to it.
That made the vibes more festive, but it's still got a spooky element to it.
The Reinbeers!
It's not the best idea, but it's festive enough. This looks like a college dorm cheap decoration.
Those college kids aren't the richest and don't have much space to decorate.
Meh Is The Vibe
At least people can respect that you tried when they drive past your home. You did something!
Making letters out of lights isn't the easiest, but three letters can't be that hard.
This Person's A Big Fan Of The Holidays
I guess you can see they were a fan of Christmas! Maybe they think Christmas blows!
I don't know what they're up to, but I'm sure they won't get long-winded talking about the holidays.
Give Him A Beard
I think it might be hard taking this character down when the time arrives.
It's a classic character and doesn't look so bad with a Santa beard hanging on the chin.
No Structure At All
I can't tell if this was the design or a lazy attempt at having structure.
It's probably the worst house on the block because it looks so sloppy, but that's how they wanted it.
No Need To Do The Top
There's no need to do the top when you have a loading sign to put up there.
Besides, that tree looks pretty tall. You wouldn't want to fall putting up more decorations.
This Works Fine
They didn't need to put the tree together. Lighting the box was enough for them.
Honestly, it doesn't look bad at night, but it's probably lackluster during the day. That's pretty lazy.
