From restaurant to retail to hotel, if you've worked in any of the customer service industries, then you, my friends, have survived walking through hell itself.
The person who first coined the phrase "The customer is always right" definitely didn't meet these entitled shoppers.
Idiots In Cars
You can sure find rude and idiot customers in places like restaurants and retail stores, but they also lurk in other places too, like your local autobody shop.
This customer claimed her car's turn signal was broken, but the attendant quickly learned it was because perhaps the turn signal is not the best place to hang items from.
Coupons Older Than I Am
There is a special place in hell for people who throw a tantrum when a store won't accept their expired coupon. But then there is this customer.
Is this customer going overboard attempting to use a 37-year-old coupon just to save 30 cents, or are they brilliant and frugal? We'll let you decide. All I know is, this is probably something my dad would do.
So Close, And Yet, So Far
Ask any grocery store employee, and one of their pet peeves is probably this. It's people who take items off the shelves, decide they don't actually want them anymore, and then leave them scattered throughout the store instead of putting them back.
No Becky, this four-pack of steaks does not belong in the toilet paper aisle, you idiot sandwich.
Always Read The Reviews
Customer reviews are a good way to determine whether or not a business is worth buying from. But, sometimes reviews are less than truthful or biased, and so you have to take them with a grain of salt.
In this case, this independent coffee shop is telling Karens - I mean customers - that they're not afraid of them or their BS Yelp review.
Not The Legal Drinking Age
So a bit of backstory for this one. Two underage kids came into this restaurant and tried to order drinks, but the server denied them due to the fact they were under 21-years-old. By the time it came for them to pay for their meal, this is what they left instead of a tip.
It's a shame their attitude isn't as lovely as their penmanship.
Clean-Up On Aisle Eleven
When going out in public, people have to adhere to a social contract on how to behave. When going to a clothing store, this kind of behavior is definitely under the "Don't Do This" column.
If this is the mess people leave behind in clothing stores, then I'm afraid to ask how dirty their actual homes are.
You're Screwed
Home renovations have taken off over the past two years and places like Lowe's and Home Depot are more popular than Disneyland as of late.
But we don't envy this hardware store employee who now has to sort through this box after a klutzy customer dropped a pound of screws into a box of nails. I feel like this is how those outlandish math problems begin...
"A Pretty Poppy Tip"
Regardless of how you feel during the tipping debate, there are a lot of things wrong with this image. In lieu of a tip, these restaurant customers left behind a dirty diaper on their table.
And this is why some people should not be allowed to interact with the general public.
Whole Foods
There are a lot of people nowadays who've changed their diets to be more environmentally/animal friendly. Whether vegan, vegetarian, or just organic, many grocery stores and restaurants have made the switch to cater to this growing subset of customers.
But then there's the person who inspired this sign at a Whole Foods bakery.
When The World Is Your Ashtray
You can tell a lot about a person by the way they maintain their car. Just ask this employee who went to go get a customer's vehicle, but accidentally reached into this pile of cigarette butts while doing so.
I guess this is at least one step above just tossing them out the window?
Crumpled Cash
There are a lot of people who still prefer to pay when cash when shopping.
But if you're the kind of person who drops coins on the countertop instead of putting it into the cashier's outstretched hand or you hand them a bill that looks like this, please get a debit card.
The World Is My Canvas
There is nothing worse than an entitled customer, and the amount of spray paint on the floor of this hardware store tells us that many of them have walked through this aisle.
So not only do they need to work on their artistry skills, but they also should work on their manners.
Hotel, Motel, Holiday Inn
This Holiday Inn is fighting back and letting rude customers know what they really think of them.
I once worked the front desk at a hotel. A hunter checked in to his room and then asked if I could store a large item (wrapped in garbage bags and duct tape) in our industrial freezer. As I go to carry this item to the freezer, drops of blood start falling onto the ground. Welcome to Hospitality Hell. If only my manager had cared as much as this one.
